Reign showed up to win and played one of its best games, but the lords of soccer had other ideas. Reign had its share of opportunities, but faced a tough team in the Skagit Storm. It was an exciting run deep into the playoffs, and it ended just two wins short of a state championship. Hold your heads high girls, you made it farther into the playoffs this year than any other Reign team.

Eastside White was predicted to take the Challenge Cup this year, but Reign had its own plans. Reign dominated the entire first half and took several shots on goal before TM challenged the keeperand won, sending the ball into the back of the net for what would be the game's only score. Eastside came out stronger after the half, but were continually turned back with just a few shots on goal. Reign went on the defense and played tough through the final moments showing everyone that they are in the Challenge Cup to win. Reign moves on to the Semi-Finals.

With about 10 minutes remaining in the second half, HH scored the second goal with a well-placed shot from behind the 18. The win places Reign first in its division and the team moves on to the Elimination Round.

Metropolitan came out strong and dominated for the first 10 minutes, but Reign's defense was solid and our goalkeeper made some incredible saves to keep the score 0-0. Then Reign found its rhythym and took control, scoring its first goal before the half on a break-away from midfield. Reign's second goal within the first minute of the second half off a defender boot that lead the forward perfectly. Metropolitan came back to play hard in the last few minutes, but just could not get past the Reign defense.
